Joseph is a litigation and appellate attorney primarily focused on professional and general liability defense and insurance coverage issues. He also represents professionals and businesses before administrative agencies and licensing boards, with OSHA/WISHA and HIPAA compliance, and in land use and property related matters. He has taken multiple cases to jury verdict, bench trial, and arbitration in Oregon and Washington and has briefed and argued matters in the Oregon and Washington courts of appeal.

Prior to joining Brisbee & Stockton, Joseph served as General Counsel and Senior Policy Advisor to the Minority Caucus in the Oregon House of Representatives and as a litigation attorney at two prominent Portland-based civil defense firms. He received his JD from Willamette University College of Law in Salem.
